Franco Piccinno

Born in Naples, Franco Piccinno is a pianist and composer of great sensitivity, dazzling technique and an ecstatic style. His strength as a performer lies in his fluid technique and ability to improvise blending jazz, classical and contemporary styles in a very expressive way.       

                                 

Franco was a child prodigy, playing piano since he was 8 years old. He graduated with Honours from the Conservatoire of Avellino (Italy) and the Professional Music Center (CPM) of Milan. Early in his career he received international distinctions, including the European Jazz  Prize (Krakow) and the Baronissi Jazz Award.

 

 

 

Franco has been performing on international stages for over 20 years, in Europe, USA, Japan and Brazil. He has played with legendary artist such as:
